Stratus safari lodge tents
OSSO offers two kinds of safari lodge tents. First, we have the Stratus, which we consider to be the ultimate family tent. The Stratus comes in two sizes: the Stratus 450 of 20 m2, which can accommodate up to four people, and the Stratus 550 of 35 m2, which offers enough space for a maximum of six people. The 550 can also be equipped with a fully fitted bathroom, so no more need for your guests to leave the tent to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night.
Because of the material choice the Stratus is very strong and durable. The base of the tent consists of a powder coated steel construction. Thanks to the electrolytic zinc treatment corrosion is prevented. For maximum strength and durability, we use 420 gr/m2 polycotton OSSO® fabric, a blend of polyester and cotton. The fabric has an anti-mildew and colourfastness treatment. The roof and mudflap are made of 650 gr/m2 PVC and are M2 flame retardant.
Cirrus tents
The Cirrus is a stylish, spacious, and very light safari lodge tent. A lot of light comes in through the glass front, which is combined with a curved high-rise ceiling. The Cirrus has a glulam frame. We use this material because of its stability, but also because of its reduced impact on the environment. The strength of the glulam construction is right on par with the steel frame of the Stratus.
The fabric used for the walls of these safari lodge tents is 420 gr/m2 polycotton OSSO® fabric with a 650 gr/m2 PVC roof, which offers the perfect balance between breathability and tensile strength, comfort, and durability. Need extra UV protection? Just upgrade to OSSO PP450 solution dyed fabric and a roof with PVDF coating. Good to know: the removable front wall can be delivered in both a wooden frame with glass or a fabric wall with marine grade clear PVC.
