RFEM
At OSSO we do our own in house engineering for all structures. Taking into account the applicable EN, DIN and ISO standards as well as strength certification of our timbers we check all our designs for windspeed limitations. Using strength certified materials in inevitable especially for Gulam and timber structures. Most round timbers used in our market segment don’t come with strength certification and therefore cannot receive adequate structural analysis. Your safety is our concern and we pay attention to the environment in which a structure is placed. For testing our structures we use RFEM software which allows us to do analysis on a specific location.
We also welcome customers who would like us to do a structural analysis for tent models not designed by us and make suggestions on wind load improvements.
Look at the analysis
RFEM, developed by DLUBAL, is a powerful finite element analysis software widely used for simulating and analyzing complex structures, including lightweight tensile structures like tents. Tent structure testing in RFEM involves the modeling, analysis, and validation of structural behavior under various loading conditions.
Structural analysis includes applying realistic loads:
- Dead loads (self-weight)
- Wind loads
- Snow loads
- Live loads
RFEM is an advanced and versatile tool for tent structure testing, offering in-depth modeling, accurate form-finding, and robust nonlinear analysis. It plays a vital role in ensuring these lightweight structures are safe, efficient, and visually compelling under real-world loading conditions.
